Whether you live in Toronto, are planning a visit, or are just interested in hearing about some of our favorite places and things to do here - this list is for you! We've spent our entire lives here and feel like we can make some good recs.
Restaurants
- Kasa Moto (sushi, higher end but so good. Such a good vibe in the summer too on the rooftop)
- Fresh Restaurants (casual, vegan, really good food. Go to the Spadina or Front Street locations because they are all redone)
- Gusto 101 (Italian, downtown/entertainment district, so good)
- Trattoria Nervosa (almost the same menu as Gusto but in Yorkville)
- Lee (Asian fusion, really fun birthday spot)
- Planta (vegan, different locations have different menus. Queen St. location is Asian inspired and so good)
- The Good Fork (best brunch! Get the red velvet pancakes)
- Kupfert and Kim (vegan, fast casual)
- Terroni (classic Toronto Italian, amazing food)
- Kost (beautiful view in the Bisha Hotel, really good summer vibe)
- Figo (pretty modern Italian restaurant on King W)
- Cactus Club Cafe (casual but fun, bar/lounge vibe)
- CN Tower Restaurant (honestly not the best food and a bit overpriced, but a fun spot if you're visiting the city!)
- Nutbar (healthy food and cafe)
- Cocoa 70 (dessert and fondue)
- El Catrin (Mexican, cool vibe)
- Mildred's Temple Kitchen (brunch/lunch)
- School (Liberty Village, brunch/lunch)

- Her Majesty's Pleasure (really good nails and facials)
- The Spa at the Shangri-La Hotel

Activities and Things to Do
- Walk or bike along Lakeshore
- Shop in Yorkville
- Shop in the boutiques along Queen West
- Have a picnic in Trinity Bellwoods Park
- Visit the aquarium or the Royal Ontario Museum
- Have lunch on a rooftop patio (in the summer of course, try Kost or Kasa Moto)
- Over Christmas, visit the Christmas Market in the Distillery District
- Walk in High Park
- Go to a Toronto Maple Leafs or Blue Jays game or a concert
- Visit Canada's Wonderland amusement park
- Visit downtown Oakville or walk by the lake (our hometown)
- CNE in August!
